“I’d like to share my stories in the plant, which is somehow my second university,” said Forhanur Rahman Fahim, 24, a local employee at the Genertec CMC-funded Payra Power Plant in Bangladesh, during the BRICS Trade Union Forum held in July. Forhanur showed his passion for working in the EPC team, gaining professional skills and making friends with Chinese colleagues. He also expressed gratitude to the plant for meeting the electricity demand and bringing public goods to the locals.
Genertec Meheco discussed the anti-pandemic cooperation between China and Mexico with Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister for Multilateral Affairs Martha Delgado, who recognized its contributions, at a recent meeting. Genertec Meheco has worked with pharmaceutical enterprise Dentafill to build a high-quality medical glove production line in Uzbekistan. Four medical professionals from Genertec Universal Medical provided treatment to employees who were infected with COVID 19 at a China-built project in Karshi in southern Uzbekistan. Patients recovered after about half a month thanks to accurate and efficient care. Inside the iron houses on the construction site, the healthcare workers stayed for more than 100 days for local pandemic control and prevention.
Genertec has dispatched 13 doctors and nurses to join the medical teams from North China’s Inner Mongolia to Rwanda since 1995.
