China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec) recently hosted an open day activity for a visiting Eurasian media delegation. Gu Jin, vice president of Genertec, attended the open day event and had discussions with the visiting delegation. Senior executives of Genertec International also participated in the event. During the event, editors-in-chief and journalists from mainstream media outlets in seven countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia and Moldova, visited Genertec's headquarters in Beijing. Visitors were given a guided tour of Genertec facilities such as the comprehensive exhibition hall, integrated media center, Genertec Clinic, and staff library. At the staff library, they engaged in in-depth and friendly exchanges of ideas on topics such as deepening international capacity cooperation, building localized brands, and promoting mutual learning in international communication of culture with relevant personnel from Genertec International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genertec. During her meeting with the delegation, Gu expressed gratitude to the visitors for their interest and support in Genertec's overseas operations. She pointed out that as an important player among Chinese enterprises participating in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Genertec has long been committed to promoting multilateral technological exchanges, cooperation, as well as economic and trade contacts. Gu said she hopes to explore more valuable topics together with friends from the media through in-depth exchanges and looks forward to the journalists' accurately conveying China's vision of promoting global prosperity, Genertec's philosophy of cooperation featuring openness, integration, mutual benefit and win-win results, as well as the group's contributions to trade and economic development in Central Asia, to the people of their respective countries. After the event, many media outlets, such as Kazakhstan's Inbusiness.kz and DKNews International News Agency, published news reports on Genertec's participation in the BRI. |
