From Sept. 10 to 11 local time, Yu Xubo, Chinese member of the BRICS Business Council and chairman of Genertec, attended the 2026 BRICS Business Council Annual Meeting, the Chinese Chapter meeting and other related events upon invitation in New Delhi, India. He also took part in the BRICS Business Forum 2026.

During his stay, Yu, together with other Chinese members of the BRICS Business Council, visited the Chinese Embassy in India.

On Sept. 10, at the BRICS Business Council Annual Meeting, Yu, as a Chinese member of the Council, joined the chairpersons and members of the business councils of BRICS countries in reviewing and adopting the 2026 annual report of the BRICS Business Council.

On the same day, the second session of the Chinese Chapter of the BRICS Business Council in 2026 was held. Representatives of the member organizations exchanged views on advancing the Council’s work with high quality and deepening practical exchanges and cooperation among the business communities of BRICS countries.

On Sept. 11, Yu delivered remarks during a session at the BRICS Business Forum. He put forward proposals on deepening cooperation in trade in health and medical services among BRICS countries.

Huang Jigang, Assistant to the President of Genertec and Board Chairman of Genertec International, as well as relevant executives from Genertec International, accompanied Yu at the above events.
