Executives from China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (Genertec) recently participated in China's national "two sessions," the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, China's top legislative and political advisory bodies, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

     The 14th CPPCC National Committee commenced the opening meeting of its third session at 3 p.m. on March 4. Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders of the country attended the meeting.

The opening meeting of the 14th NPC commenced at 9 a.m. on March 5, with Xi and other leaders present. Chinese Premier Li Qiang delivered a government work report at the meeting.

Three NPC deputies from Genertec—Chairman Yu Xubo, Fan Zhen, Deputy General Manager of Genertec Topfond and Ma Bing, head of the Ma Hengchang Team at the precision workshop of Genertec QIER—along with Genertec Vice President Yao Jianhong, a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, attended the relevant meetings and listened to the government work report.

At this year's "two sessions", Yu submitted suggestions focusing on issues including strengthening enterprises' principal role in technological innovation, supporting the development of domestic high-end medical equipment, early cancer screening and diagnosis, community-based at-home elderly care services, rehabilitation medical care, the construction of nursing homes, accelerating the creation of reliable healthcare data spaces, and further support for the high-quality development of medical institutions operated by state-owned enterprises.
